Healing Little Hearts

Healing Little Hearts’ mission is to fund research at Children’s Hospital Boston that will aid in the treatment and cure of pediatric heart defects. Specifically, research on tissue engineered heart valve replacement is one of the greatest hopes for reducing the number of surgeries over the course of a child’s life and reducing the risks associated – from death to developmental impairment – with multiple open heart surgeries. Tissue engineered heart valves will be an exponential leap in the survival and quality of life for children born with life threatening heart problems.

The Mark Allen Friedman Foundation

The Mark Allen Friedman Foundation is a non-profit charitable organization established in 2005. In association with the University of Pennsylvania Abramson Cancer Center, all proceeds raised by the Foundation are donated to medical research, increased awareness of melanoma and other skin-related cancers, and those personally affected by skin cancer.
