Healing Little Hearts

Healing Little Hearts’ mission is to fund research at Children’s Hospital Boston that will aid in the treatment and cure of pediatric heart defects. Specifically, research on tissue engineered heart valve replacement is one of the greatest hopes for reducing the number of surgeries over the course of a child’s life and reducing the risks associated – from death to developmental impairment – with multiple open heart surgeries. Tissue engineered heart valves will be an exponential leap in the survival and quality of life for children born with life threatening heart problems.
