Explore sea life UP CLOSE! with Beach Aquarium by Kanan Corp. Use the resources of the shore to build a live aquarium for an educational fun-in-the-sun day at the beach.

Basic kit includes: Clear Aquarium Bucket, Sifter, Critter Net.


Beach Aquarium (TM) by Kanan Corp. was invented by the children of two sisters from Long Island two summers ago. Spending summers in Montauk, the cousins found that exploring tidal pools and snorkeling in the shallow bay waters was an excellent way to stay busy at the beach, not to mention a great way to meet fellow beach explorers. So accomplished they became at finding various crabs and fish, their small beach buckets were no longer sufficient to house their critters. The cousins decided to use a five gallon industrial pail they found lying around. The pail was translucent and soon teeming with sea life. A starfish was slowly making its way around the inside. Other groups of beach explorers quickly noticed the action and added their collection of sea creatures to the mix. A seven year old decided to decorate the bucket using sand, shells and colorful rocks. She added some seaweed. The Beach Aquarium was born. The cousins wanted a clear bucket for their next beach adventure so they could really see their catch in action. It didn't exist. Until now...


Beach Aquarium (TM) offers four-sided viewing of marine life in a habitat the children create themselves for hours of educational fun at the beach.
